BORN TO INTERPRET THE WORLD AROUND ME
I have been drawing in this medium for over 20 years. I started this type of drawing as a hobby. Basically, it was my way to unwind and relax after work. However, as my skills evolved and I established a full-time career in design and drawing, it grew into my passion. My academic background is in website and graphic design with some architectural design training. However, the drawings you see on my website are not the product of any art classes or architectural training; this is purely an art form I have developed through countless hours of drawing and honing my skills in a medium I love. Medium Used
To create my city landscapes, architecture, streets, skies, trees, grasses, and waters, I use colored pens, colored pencils, Conte crayons, and colored markers. All my drawings are produced on top-quality, archival paper. Each city landscape drawing is completely unique, with no tracing or copying of any sort done during the design or drawing process. Each of my drawings begins with an idea and evolves into a full city as I draw. Picturing the components in my head as I progress is what allows this passion of mine to come full circle, creating the pictures you see before you.
